In the WILD WORD Fields by T. Lee Thompson
Poem authored and written by T. Lee Thompson, see bio below.
Words spoken or written are like looking at a field of Wildflowers
To one person, the flowers appear flowing, Beautiful, Colourful and Free
To another person, they appear Chaotic, Asthmatic, Dusty Weeds that should be pulled out and eliminated
To a Healer, it is a field of possibilities of calm petals to the anxious, courageous roots to the fearful, and powerful scents to the insecure
To a Troll like Mercenary, it is a field of weeds that may be used as poisons to ridicule, taunt, deceive and gossip to create defensive reactions
Ah, but to the Alchemist, it is shown all these things or none at the same time
An Alchemist looks to create a clearing in the field of Words
A space of silence where fewer words said magically become more
Transforming, deflating, and detaching poisonous words with swords designed to swiftly and surgically cut away the harmful overgrowth
Burning away old words spoken that became negative beliefs
Transplanting new seedlings of positive I AM’s in the field of words spoken and written
Creating a field of Wild Words that inspires
So that others notice their inherent greatness
A field of Wild Words can be a powerful healing salve or a poisonous tincture.
Remember to pick them carefully.
