Letting Go of the Past

by Tracy Thompson ACCHT

Hypnotherapy Audio Recording by Tracy Thompson – 43 minutes 40 seconds

Sometimes we carry a heavy burden around containing years and years of past trauma, sadness, hurt, and pain and we don’t even know that we are doing it. In this recording we give you an opportunity to ask your subconscious memory to seek out and contain all those negative memories, events, thoughts, words, and emotions and to let them go by putting them into a trunk and watching them float away in a huge hot air balloon.

The feeling of relief and lightness is like a burden being lifted giving you a sense of freedom and gaining control back into your life. You will find that your mind is finally able to focus on what is good around you in your present life without feeling like you are living in a fog of negativity.

You will truly enjoy this recording as it has a way of lifting your spirits and finally getting you to find a way to detach yourself from the past and enjoy living with positive mindfulness every day.

For best results it is recommended that you listen to this recording often and while reclining in a chair or lying down in an upright position in a bed where you have full body and head support. Be sure to keep your body in an open position and refrain from crossing your arms and legs while listening to this and any hypnotherapy recording. And it also recommended that you find a place where you will not be disturbed by any outside noises or distractions such as pets, children, TV, phones, internet. Wearing noise cancelling headphones are also recommended if at all possible.

Suggestions, metaphors, and some of the wordings that were used in some of these hypnotherapy scripts for recordings have been taken from the following sources: ‘Handbook of Hypnotic Suggestions and Metaphors’ by D.
